TL;DR: Mony stores the minimum data needed to run your account. Your chats never leave your device. We don't sell or share your data.

1. What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we store your name, email, profile picture, and Google account ID to run your account. We also store your plan status (Free/Pro), daily usage count, and session tokens.

Our server (Cloudflare): Account info only — name, email, plan, usage counters. No chat content.

Your device only: All chat history and settings. Stored locally in Chrome. Never sent to us. Deleted if you uninstall.

4. AI providers

When you send a message, the text is sent anonymously to Groq, Google Gemini, or Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a response. Your identity is never shared with these providers.

5. Payments

Pro subscriptions are handled by Ko-fi. We never see or store your payment card details. We only store your Ko-fi email to match your payment to your account.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data. The only external data transfer is anonymous message text to AI providers and Google sign-in authentication.

7. Deletion

You can delete your account and all server-side data anytime from the extension's Settings tab. Local chat data is deleted when you uninstall or clear Chrome storage.

8. Your rights

You can view your data in the extension, download your chat history, delete your account anytime, or sign out and stop using Mony. EEA/UK users have additional GDPR rights.
